This week my post is about my list of films I recommend, and they're ones you can't watch again and again.
I love watching comedy film and one of my all times favourite films is 'Grown Ups' with Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schnider. In my opinion it's probably one of the funniest films ever! The story of the film is basically 5 childhood friends, who also played basketball together, and won the championship game when they were at school. 30years later they all receive phone calls saying that their basketball coach has died. They all reunite at the funeral with their families and kids and basically after the funeral all have a fun weekend away together. Throughout that time a lot of stuff happens and yeah it's just an all round funny film.
One of my other favourites would have to be 'The Proposal' starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. In this film Sandra Bullock plays a Canadian editor(Margret Tate) working for a New York book company. In the workplace she is described as a 'poisonous bitch' and other names. Ryan Reynolds plays the character of her assistant (Andrew Paxton) who has a dream of becoming an editor. When Margret finds out she has to get deported back to Canada and loose her job, Andrew is the only way out of the situation. She tells the company that she is 'marrying' Andrew therefore she won't have to be deported. Andrew agrees to fake marrying her, and they both take a trip to Alaska to visit Andrews family and make everyone think they are a real couple. Along the way they actually end up falling in love with eachother, but when it comes to their fake wedding will Margret back out? (Watch it and find out oooooo suspense)!
Other comedies/Rom coms I suggest you check out would be
Just go with it - Starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston
50 first dates - Starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler (put them together and they are a dream team)!
Blended - Starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler
Miss Congeniality - Starring Sandra Bullock
21 & 22 Jumpstreet - Starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum
Rushhour 1,2 & 3 - Starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker
Pitch Perfect - Starring Skylar Astin, Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson
Kicking and Screaming - Will Ferral (most people probs won't enjoy this film lolllll)
I absoultly love Romantic(Drama) Films. I think sometimes it's good to have a cry and these films make me sob 😂.
My Favourite Romantic Film would have to be hands down 'Dear John' starring Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum. It's basically a story of Love at first sight. John(Channing Tatum) meets college student Savannah(Amanda Seyfried) whilst he's on leave from the Army. After only meeting a few time the two fall in love pretty quickly. They are soon torn apart when John re- enlists and fulfils his duties in the army. They are both young and the separation is long can they survive the distance?
It is such a good film trust me! And Channing Tatum is in it soo that's like an added bonus!!!
Another one of my favourite films is 'A walk to remember' this film was made a while ago, so when I first watched it I wasn't sure whether I would have liked it buts it's one of my favourite films. It's a young love story, kind of typical really. There's the popular boy and the nerdy girl and they fall in love. It's as simple as that, yet it's one of the sweetest films I've ever seen, and if a boy did stuff like the character Landon did for her to me I would be so happy!!! 😂
Other Romantic(Dramas) films I like would be:
Last Song - Starring Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth
The Lucky One - Starring Zac Efron
The Vow - Starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams
Now is Good - Starring Dakota Fanning and Jeremy Irvine
Lastly Teen Films. This list will include Disney Channel Films (Sorry not sorry) becuase to be honest those films are great!
One of my all time favourite teen films is 'Another Cinderella Story' Starring Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley. This film is sort of the sequel to 'Cinderella Story' (with Hillary Duff) but it's a different story line and different characters. The story line obviously goes along with the cinderlla concept, but it's about a girl who loves to dance, but the people she live with get in the way of what she wants to do. But it's a brilliant film so if you haven't already seen is go check it out.
Another teen film I really love is a new one that came out in December last year called 'Expelled' This stars Cameron Dallas (who I absoultly love by the way) Andrea Russett, Marcus John and Lia Marie Johnson. It's basically about a guy called Felix (Cameron Dallas) who has been expelled from school, but can't let his parents find out or he will be send of to some other school that his brother goes to, that his brother hates. He asked to ask multiple people to help him out including his ex girlfriend, and gets into a lot of trouble along the way.
This film was so good and I was so proud of Cameron as this was his first film and he was amazing in it!
Other teen films I recommend are
Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging - Starring Aaron Taylor Johns and Georgia Groome
She's The Man - Starring Ashely Benson and Channing Tatum
Starstruck - Starring Sterling Knight
Lemonade Mouth - Starring Bridgit Mendler
Camp Rock 1 & 2 - Starring Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brother
I know I'm really childish for still liking Disney channel movies.... Oh well!
Anyway this is all for this weeks post! Have a good week, I have injections at school 😫!
Pretty Basic ~ Abi xoxo
